Careful English typing grows from repeatable practice. Give punctuation, spacing and capital letters the same attention as ordinary words.
Begin with a deliberate warm-up
Type a short familiar sentence slowly. Notice the keys or movements that interrupt your rhythm. Keep your hands comfortable and avoid pushing speed while you are still finding the keyboard position.
Choose one focus for the session
Practise a short pattern such as capital letters, commas or common word endings. Follow the source exactly. Reviewing one repeated error can be more useful than completing a long passage without understanding what went wrong.
Use a timed passage as feedback
Take the free practice test and review both WPM and accuracy. Write down the duration and one pattern to work on next. The free test does not save a learner record or issue a certificate.
Prepare for the assessment format
Read the programme’s duration, access instructions and review rules before purchase. Confirm acceptance requirements with the receiving organisation. Practice is preparation; it does not automatically qualify a result for certificate issue.
